suning real estate group

dtz's china occupier services team recently entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with suning real estate group ("suning"), the property development arm of suning appliance co ltd, a leading privately owned retailers of electronics appliances in china. the agreement will create a partnership with the osg team aimed at introducing prominent occupiers in the client's mixed-use development projects in core areas of beijing, nanjing and other cities in china, leveraging off of dtz's strong occupier client base, both in china overseas as well as abroad.
ms zhao yun, assistant director, suning real estate group and jonathan wei, managing director, head of occupier services, china, officiated at the agreement-signing ceremony held on 24 june in suning's global headquarters in nanjing. other attendees included three representatives from the client's marketing management company, mr cui yong-sheng, deputy director; mr yu xue-qing, deputy director - market planning center; and ms shen yue-rong, key-account marketing director. also in attendance were three senior dtz representatives: mimie lau, managing director, east china together with harris tong, and tony yang, who are respectively general manager and assistant general manager of nanjing office.

ms zhao yun, commented at the agreement-signing ceremony, "the signing of this agreement will create a win-win situation by combining the competitive advantages and resources of both sides, with a view to achieving greater economic benefits, enhancing competitiveness and increasing market share. we select dtz as our strategic partner since there is a good fit between the complementary strengths of both companies."
jonathan wei, in his remarks, added, "we really appreciate suning's trust in us with the signing of this milestone agreement, demonstrating their recognition of dtz's substantial global client resources and our osg team's strong performance and consistent delivery of superior services in all parts of china. we look forward to fruitful cooperation and to our relationship attaining a new, higher level."
tony yang, assistant general manager, nanjing office, said, "our office agency, valuation & dvisory services as well as industrial and logistics properties teams have previously served suning by providing a range of professional services, including initial project consulting, feasibility studies and project positioning for the client's development projects in suzhou and nanjing.
"our nanjing office and shanghai office's osg team have collaborated seamlessly with the client for the past six months, culminating in our second round of cooperation with suning, as marked by our entrance into this strategic agreement. with this stronger relationship in place, we are confident of providing even more customized services to the client by leveraging our robust client resources and leasing expertise."
